Welcome to Season 1 of the En Colombia Travel Podcast We're waiting for you!

I am Natalia Valencia, creator of Go and Travel. My purpose in life is to inspire a deep love for this land, Colombia, and if you decide to explore it, I want to be the designer of your adventures through my travel agency.

I start this podcast with great enthusiasm to create a project in which I can put two of my great passions: Colombia and travel.

Why a Go and Travel Podcast?

It may come as a surprise that a company dedicated to selling travel would make a foray into the world of podcasts, but we have a very big reason: behind every trip there are fascinating stories of people, communities and local entrepreneurs that deserve to be told.

We want to share those real stories that no one tells, connect with the people who make these unforgettable experiences possible and highlight the importance of sustainable tourism.

Through this podcast, we will not only share destinations and activities, but we also want to show the positive impact that tourism can have on local communities. We believe that by learning the stories behind the destinations, our listeners will be able to appreciate even more the beauty and diversity of each place, and perhaps also feel inspired to travel in a more conscious and responsible way.

Why call it that, because in the summer of 2020 after the COVID an initiative was born which we call WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU.

Go and Travel devised a formula whereby, on the one hand, local operators could create unique experiences to discover Colombia and, on the other hand, customers could give their support by making a reservation by paying 25% of the total cost, to be enjoyed when all the hustle and bustle was over.

This helped the operators we worked with to avoid bankruptcy and closure, precisely in 2020, the year in which Colombia was selected as the best travel destination in the world.
