Trips that could have been and were not - Fragment 1.

We will return to design to experience travel from a new reality, more human, calmer, more natural.

Europe, February 2020.

Rushing out of the house because it was a long day at work and they had to leave a lot of things ready before leaving home. A bit nervous about not leaving passports and money at home; or anxious about a new adventure to undertake. Landing in a very strange February in Madrid.

And since we cannot know how something that is not was, we will leave some imaginary images of what we dreamed it was going to be.

Chair 3A and 3B, seated toasting to the beginning of a new adventure. There are 9:00 hours to go, and we see them as we see ourselves, with our heads full of ideas, eager to arrive and start exploring. They begin to walk down Arenal Street and feel the smell of chocolate in the late winter mornings in Madrid. Entering Chocolates Sant Gines and asking for some churros with chocolate; and that chocolate so thick, so different from Luker chocolate.

We see them in Granada, in a perfect sunset at the viewpoint of San Miguel, watching the red sky and among all that, the Alhambra. We see them sitting listening to the sound of a guitar and a woman dancing flamenco, one of those street shows that leave you captivated. Tapping in Bodegas Castañeda and the shouts of the Andalusians, who talk hard but are sweet and surely laugh with you or at you, we don't know.

They are in the car, leaving by the A2, from Malaga to the Caminito del Rey and all the olive trees start to appear. Those little trees that look half-peeled after the olives have been removed and are in the process of being oil. We feel them anxious because a day of adventure is coming, walking through a canyon and enjoying nature. This trip should have lasted longer, because each city had so much to give them that it was impossible to experience so many things. We imaginatively enjoyed every step they took.

We saw them in every purchase we made, every hotel we booked, every excursion we planned. But they always say there are second chances, things can always be done better. So here we are, your travel team waiting for the perfect moment to travel again.

And may imagination lead us all to explore a new destination.
